A Place for Your Children

The Good Shepherd loves little children! We help them grow in their relationship with Jesus by teaching God’s Word in ways they can understand and remember. We want every child to know they are deeply loved by God, that He is always with them, and that through Jesus we have forgiveness and the gift of everlasting life.

BIBLE STUDIES

Grow in Faith

God’s Word is alive and full of wisdom for every part of our lives! Our Bible studies help you explore Scripture, ask questions, and discover how God’s truth applies to your daily life. Whether you’re new to the Bible or have been studying for years, these gatherings are a place to learn, reflect, and grow alongside others. Join us as we deepen our faith, strengthen our relationship with Jesus, and encourage one another in God’s love.

Serving others is at the heart of following Jesus! When we lend our time and talents, we share God’s love in practical ways and help our church and community flourish. Every act of service, big or small, shows others that they are seen, valued, and cared for. Through serving, we grow closer to God, experience the joy of giving, and make a real difference in the lives of those around us.

  • Supporting several local food pantries
  • Good Samaritan fund    
  • Community Church Picnic  
  • Preparing service bulletins and support material  
  • Facilitating Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Tops meetings
  • Hosting site to: Cub Scouts, Feed my Starving Children, Montessori Preschool of Frankfort, Roots and Wings Home Schooling Co-op, Heart, Soul and Mind Home Schooling Co-op, Raising Arrows Home Schooling Co-op and Fit4Mom 
  • Supporting Special Friends Ministries at Camp Manitoqua in Frankfort
  • Supporting Northern Illinois District LCMS, PASS, Federwitz Bible translators, Journey (Mokena), Voice of Care, Voice of Hope, and Lutheran Church Charities
