Good Shepherd is dedicated to serving both our church family and the wider Frankfort community. To get involved in any of the service opportunities listed below or to learn about other ways to serve, please contact the church office.

  • Supporting the Frankfort food pantry  
  • Good Samaritan fund  
  • Community Pancake Breakfast  
  • Community Church Picnic  
  • Preparing service bulletins and support material  
  • Facilitating Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Tops meetings, and Spotlight Art Collection  
  • Hosting site to Feed my Starving Children, Kidinary Academy, Montessori Preschool of Frankfort, Roots and Wings Home Schooling Co-op  
  • Supporting Northern Illinois District LCMS, PASS, Federwitz Bible translators, Journey (Mokena), Voice of Care, Voice of Hope, and Lutheran Church Charities
