Good Shepherd is dedicated to serving both our church family and the wider Frankfort community. To get involved in any of the service opportunities listed below or to learn about other ways to serve, please contact the church office.

  • Supporting several local food pantries
  • Good Samaritan fund    
  • Community Church Picnic  
  • Preparing service bulletins and support material  
  • Facilitating Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Tops meetings
  • Hosting site to: Cub Scouts, Feed my Starving Children, Montessori Preschool of Frankfort, Roots and Wings Home Schooling Co-op, Heart, Soul and Mind Home Schooling Co-op, Raising Arrows Home Schooling Co-op and Fit4Mom 
  • Supporting Northern Illinois District LCMS, PASS, Federwitz Bible translators, Journey (Mokena), Voice of Care, Voice of Hope, and Lutheran Church Charities
