Mission & Outline

Good Shepherd Sunday School's mission is to share with children the love of Christ. 

Sunday School supports the teaching of God's Word at home, reading and applying it to daily life through engaging formats and encouraging a relationship with Jesus, our Lord & Savior.

Who, What, When, and Where?

Theme 2020-2021: HOPE!  Firm and secure.  See Hebrews 6:19  Romans 15:4  Heb 10:23  Isaiah 40:31 etc.!

  • Classes are offered for age 3 through 6th grade.
  • A bible based curriculum is utilized.
  • Lessons are shared with parents weekly.
  • Children are invited to begin at any time during the school year.
  • Sunday School is offered during Adult Bible Study from 9:30-10:30.
  • Classrooms are located in the educational wing on the North side of the church.
  • Junior High Group meets every Sunday from 9:30-10:30 applying all they have learned to their life today.

In Jesus name we pray: 

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Rom 15: 13

 

 

 

 

Upcoming News & Events:

Sunday school was via email last week but God is glorified as families gather around His word for in His Word is where true nourishment is found. Pastor’s sermon today centered on John 17. John 17:17 says that His word is truth!

This month, you can encounter Jesus through His Word in the Everyday Faith calendar. The calendar walks through thirty verses on rest, along with a daily prompt to help you see rest through God’s Word.

This Sunday's Lesson (11/12/2020): Bread from heaven. Exodus 16. Bible verse: John 6: 35 Jesus said to them “I am the bread the life;

We learn that God cares for us, every day and for eternity.

Next Sunday's Lesson (11/29/2020): Waterworks  Water from the Rock.  Exodus 17:1-7  Bible verse: John 7:37 [Jesus says,] “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”

We learn God satisfies all our needs!
