Fill the Truck

“Fill the Truck” for Morning Star’s Treasure Chest, 2571 E. Lincoln Highway, New Lenox. On Sunday, May 27th, there will be a truck in our parking lot and they are asking you to help fill it. They need gently used clothing, shoes, household items, toys, small electronics, etc. The items will be sold at their two locations and the proceeds help feed and provide shelter for the homeless or families in need. Remember, all donations are tax deductible too! Questions? Please call the church office.

Registration - Feed My Starving Children Packing Event

As you may know by now, Good Shepherd will be hosting a Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack event in June. Our goal is to produce 109,000 meals @ at a cost of 22 cents each. Many of you have already signed up, and contributed to this event in one way or another. You are literally making a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of hungry children throughout God’s world! If you have already taken this important step, we thank you!

FISH (Fellowship In Small Helpings) Groups Gathering!

It's time to start up our FISH Group fellowship again! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 28th at 4:00 pm. Cookout at The McNeely's, 2409 Riivendell Drive, New Lenox. Good Shepherd’s Annual Summer Picnic, come for fun, food and fellowhip!

Time: Following the 10:00am Worship Service (only one service this week)


Things To Do: Jumping House, Softball, Bags, Children’s Games and Bingo


Bring: A salad or side dish and dessert to share. Church will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, beverage and paper products.
