Children's Ministry

Welcome to Good Shepherd Sunday School

"They Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" Psalm 119:10

With all praise and glory to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, lessons from His Word the Bible, are taught in Sunday School to support the teaching that parents, grandparents and caregivers have initiated at home about the one holy and majestic God, our Creator, Redeemer and Counselor. We study His truth for our daily lives.

Classes are taught in an engaging and consistent format from Scripture. They include music, reading, discussing God's Word and activities that apply that truth to daily life.

Classes are offered for:

  • Age 3 through 6th grade
  • Junior High (7th and 8th grade)
  • High School Bible Study

Children are invited to begin at any time during the school year.

Sunday School is offered during Adult Bible Study hour allowing parents to have fellowship, be encouraged to grow in faith from 9:30-10:30 between Labor Day and Memorial Day.

Children, age 3-through 3rd grade, are dropped off and picked up from the classroom.

Materials are sent home each Sunday to be used for family devotions or conversations about how what is learned can be applied to daily life.
