Lent Schedule

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on February 22. Wednesday evening schedule is:
• 5:00-6:00 Dinner (buffet style, come whenever)
• 6:15-7:00 Worship
• 7:00 Dessert fellowship

Confirmation families, please note schedule change for Lent: Small Groups from 5:45-6:45 p.m. and Class from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

New Mom's Bible Study

New Mom’s Bible Study to start Jan. 9th. Mom's of all ages in all stages of motherhood are invited to join us on Monday nights starting on Jan. 9 from 7 - 8:30 pm for Bible study, prayer and fellowship with other Christian moms eager to grow closer to God. We will be starting a study by Priscilla Shirer called "He Speaks to Me - Preparing to Hear from God". Priscilla draws life lessons from the account of God speaking to the boy Samuel.

FISH (Fellowship In Small Helpings) Groups Gathering!

It's time to start up our FISH Group fellowship again! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 28th at 4:00 pm. Cookout at The McNeely's, 2409 Riivendell Drive, New Lenox. Good Shepherd’s Annual Summer Picnic, come for fun, food and fellowhip!


When: Sunday, August 7


Time: Following the 10:00am Worship Service (only one service this week)


Things To Do: Jumping House, Softball, Bags, Children’s Games and Bingo


Bring: A salad or side dish and dessert to share. Church will provide the hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, beverage and paper products.
